As time comes and passes in more than a blink of an eye, so did the prom last weekend. It included a night of entertainment, delicious food, and a gathering of friends once more before graduation. During this night, though, the students had the opportunity to award a student with the honor of becoming Prom King and Queen. These two fortunate students were John Colón and Megan Wichlan. When they first announced the Prom King of 2017, John Colón ecstatically went to the front to receive his crown. Along with him, they called Megan Wichlan to the front to accompany him as his Queen. John and Megan are both glowing people and deliver a friendly face to anyone they may pass in the hallway. They can constantly be seen together, and the friendship they share is obvious to those that surround them. They both are involved widely throughout school such as Megan participates in soccer and tennis while John is involved in different clubs on the school campus. These students are ones that Madison can be proud to have attend their school. Each school needs people as motivated and affable as John and Megan, and each king needs his queen as well.
