Most teenagers look forward to Valentine’s Day or someone special to spend it with. At Madison Academic High School, the students have been thinking of various ideas just to put a smile on their lover’s or friend’s face.
The male chorus came up with an idea for students to pay 5 dollars so that a love song could be performed for their person of their choice, and they would appear in their lunch period unannounced. Another idea came to mind from Project Graduation that a student could purchase a 2 dollar cake pop for a person made by HaliHannigans. They are offering 3 flavors: chocolate, vanilla, and cookies and cream. The student who purchased them will deliver them on their own to the person they bought them for.
Valentine’s Day is a holiday where you can show your loved one how much you really love them. “I am expecting a weekend away from Jackson in Memphis with my boyfriend,” stated senior Ali Halford. At Madison Academic High School the love is in the air for Valentine’s Day.
