Stress in High School

Life in high school can be stressful at times, especially when you’re someone who is handling a job and/or sports along with it. It’s hard sometimes to find a way for homework and a job to balance out. All we can do as students is keep our priorities straight and find a way to keep a good attitude no matter how much we may be stressed.
School obviously should be your main concern. If you have time before work, try to get as much homework done as possible, because if you’re like me, after working all night, you’ll just want to come home and go to sleep. If you have practice for a sport after school, take a short nap before you hit the books, or if that isn’t the thing for you, just jump right in and finish your homework to get it out of the way.
At times, the stress can be hard to ignore. In this time in our lives where the most changes are occurring, it is hard to not get stressed. The best thing to do in order to handle it in my experience is to find an outlet. Rather it is a sport, a hobby, or just taking the time to breathe, you need some way to keep everything together.
Basically, always have something in your life that makes you happy and never give it up because you think you have no time for it. In the end, that thing you gave up would have been the only thing that would have kept you together.
