The community of Jackson, Tennessee continues to thrive and progress, and throughout the
past couple of years, Jackson has seen major improvement and continues with the building of the Jackson City Walk community. When driving down North Highland in the downtown area, citizens of Jackson have mused at the new work being done behind a tall wooden fence and long banner. Behind the construction’s site façade, big things are happening in the construction of a new Jackson community.
The Jackson City Walk construction site is morphing the drab lower downtown area into a prosperous area of health, living, shopping, and dining. Spanning over seventeen acres, Jacksonians will find this to be a new bustling unique part of town. The area will include a wellness center, a rehabilitation therapy clinic, a wellness clinic in extension to Jackson General Hospital. Along with the various walking trails throughout the community, there will be two retail stores for shopping and restaurants opening up for business. Housing is also being offered as contractors have carefully placed apartments in the blueprints for the revitalization of the downtown area.
