Over all the noises of the world and commotion of the everyday life, we hear the gentle weeping of the people, grieving the fact that they are utterly and completely alone.
During that one day per year when loving and being loved matters the most to everyone, there will be people that spend Valentine’s Day alone. Instead of easing the pain of being alone on February 14th, here are some highlights of the weirdest love life-enhancing apps out there.
How to lose friends and influence people
We all know a couple who isn’t a real couple, but obviously love each other and like spending time together. Thanks to Facebook and Walgreens you can finally push your pals into the loving relationship that they want. The app called “Play Cupid” allows you to choose from a series of virtual photo frames inscribed with phrases like “Caution! Hot Couple!” and “Why Aren’t You Dating Yet?” and put your picture in the background.
Forget fate, you have an iPhone
As we all know, we can meet our soul mate anywhere and at any time; for example, the Starbucks down the street or at the grocery store. So you should always have a good outlook! But if looking for a soul mate isn’t really your thing, download Crowded Room.
Crowded Room is an Android/iPhone app that allows you to meet up with people that have the same interests as you go on with your business each day. Sign in on Facebook, send your “soul” over into the app and check into places you visit, or perhaps go to later so people can find you. The app will then find people to meet based on their interests, as well as places where people who share your interests hang out. If you see someone that catches your eye, you can then message them or “shortlist them” which is basically telling them that you like them.
You are already looking at your phone anyway, so why not try to find someone to spend time with?
